The Government was announced central sector scheme ,namely "pradhan mantri kisan samman nidhi (PM -KISAN)" .the scheme is in effect from 01.12.2018
.
Introduction:
With a view to provide income support to all land holding eligible farmer,the Government has launched the scheme PM-KISAN .the scheme aims to supplement the financial need of the farmers in various inputs to ensure proper crop health and ap
propriate yields,with the farm income.
Rules:
Earlier,under the scheme, financial benefit has been provided to all small and marginal landholder farmer with total cultivable holding upto 2 hectors with rs 6000 /annum/family payable in three equal installments,every four months.

EXCLUSION CATEGORIES
The following categories of higher economical status shall not be eligible for under the scheme.
•All institutional land holders.
•former and present holders of constitutional posts.
•former and present minister/former state minister/member of •Loksabha/rajyasabha/state legislative assemblies/former and present mayor of municiple corporation.former and present chairpersons of district
panchayat.
•all serving or retired officers of central government ministries.
Excluding multi tasking staff/class4/group D employe
•retired pensioners whose monthaly pension in rs 10000/-or more of above catagory.
•all persons who paid income tax in last assessment year.
• professional like doctors,engineer,C.A., profession by undertaking practices..
SCHEME:
•PM -KISAN is central government scheme is 100% funding from government of India.
•he scheme is realised from 1.12.2018.
•Under the scheme income support rs 6000/- per year is farmer across the country in three equal installments of rs 2000/- each every four months
